To achieve the goal, Indonesia (GE ID) is seeking a Research Assistant on Islamic Ethics.

Tasks :

1.  To research, select and find files on Islamic Ethics from website, journals, books or other resources.

2.  To contact, negotiate and deal with publishers.

3.  To develop and categorize files on Islamic ethics and submit in

4.  To make an online group discussion on Islamic ethics for participants from Indonesia and other regions.

5.    To be a moderator of the online group discussion.


1. The research assistant is expected to collect minimum 300 files on Islamic ethics on one year contract from October 2014 - September 2015.

2. The research assistant is responsible of making an online group discussion on Islamic ethics for participants from Indonesia.

3. The research assistant is working together with Program Executive (PE).


1.  The research assistant is considered as a part-time job which is twenty hours per-week.

2.  Remuneration will be paid per-month, which starts IDR 1.750.000 with 2 months probation status. There is a possibility to increase the remuneration upon the fulfillment of the expected tasks and responsibility.

Required Qualification

1.    Having good knowledge and understanding on Islamic ethics.

2.    Fluency in Indonesia, English and Arabic (at least in reading and writing in Arabic).

3.    Have good communication skill.

4.    Ability to be the initiator and moderator in the online group discussion on Islamic ethics.   

5.    Ability to deal with computer operation and website.
