ICRS core Doctoral Faculty, Dr. Dicky Sofjan, had an interview session with Paul Glader, a contributor for Forbes Magazine, on Tuesday, 9 August 2016. The interview is related to ICRS research project entitle Indonesian Interfaith Weather Station. The Indonesian Interfaith Weather Station (IIWS) is an applied research project that is aiming to establish an early warning system to mitigate interfaith tensions and conflicts. The project is meant to look for digital technology intervention - specifically through various forms of media on the internet - surrounding social issues in order to facilitate larger participation in dealing with the aforementioned issues as well as to gage where these within the archipelago these issues are taking place. Once IIWS becomes fully operational, it will be the only early warning system of its kind and could become a resource for communities experiencing interfaith tensions and conflicts in other areas of the globe.
